raceweek-rolex_award-largeThe Rolex Canadian Sailor of the Year Awards Night can be summed up perfectly with the words of CYA President Gerry Giffin 'Not only did the evening truly honour our sport’s best, it showcased our sport, and Canadian Yachting Association. From the moment we walked in until the last person left, it was flawless. This was an evening to remember!'

Guests from across the country enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of one of Canada’s most significant and historic special events venues, The Carlu.

The pinnacle of this very well attended event was the awarding of Fredrik D Eaton as the Rolex Canadian Sailor of the Year! Victor Royce, CEO of Rolex Canada had the honour of presenting this most distinguished award to Fred in the presence of Fred’s many family, friends and fellow sailors.

The achievements and successes of an additional 12 Canadian sailors were also recognized throughout the course of the evening.
