Lewin-LaFrance & Gillis Finish 6th at Youth Worlds

Georgia Lewin-LaFrance and Madeline Gillis from the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron posted the best ever finish for a Canadian boat in the International 420 class at the Youth World Sailing Championships when they finished in 6th place at the event held in China in early December. 25 countries took part in the class.

In the Boys Laser Radial event, Ryan Anderson also from RNSYS finished in 16th place in the 51-boat fleet. Other NS results included Pat Wilson and Arie Moffatt 14th in the I420 and Helen and Theodora Horanjic 11th in the Nacra 15 fleet.

Team Leader for the event was Agustin Ferrario, who leads the race team program at RNSYS.
