Boxing Rock: Perfect Day for a Great Event

Boxing Rock Crew

June 28, 2018

It was a beautiful day on Saturday, June 9 that saw 42 yachts and more than 260 sailors take part in the Sail Nova Boxing Rock Cup. This annual race, which has been around for more than 45 years, always draws a crowd. The light winds may not have made for the most dramatic racing, but they were ideal for an epic raft-up at Bishop’s Landing.

Sunnydale (Wickwire), Juvenile Delinquent (Murphy), and Osprey (MacEachern) were one, two and three from the RNSYS start. The boats starting at the BBYC were led by Agent 99 (Crutcher) followed by Equinox 99 (Stright) and Dark Water (Walker).
