Marblehead, MA – Registration is now open for the 38th biennial Marblehead to Halifax Ocean race July 7, 2019.
The Etobicoke Yacht Club decided to re-introduce a once held regatta for it’s youth, in an effort to keep the kids for their Junior Sailing Programme involved in the club.
The 38th Biennial Classic, hosted by the Boston Yacht Club and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron will begin in Marblehead Harbor on Sunday, July 7, 2019 and follow a 363 nautical mile course to Halifax Nova Scotia. Awards will be made in Halifax on July 11.
Oakcliff Sailing is located in Oyster Bay, NY, and led by Dawn Riley who has done four America’s Cup campaigns. It is an unparalleled training facility for sailors and the marine industry including fleet, match and offshore racing.
On the Friday of this year’s Chester Race Week I had the opportunity to watch the racing from the “media boat” ably helmed by Race Week Co-Chair Pat Nelder.
Congratulations Stephen Cramm from RNSYS on capturing the NS 2018 Opti Provincial Championships held at Bedford Basin YC. 25 sailors competed in the Championship fleet and 9 in the Green Fleet.
The 2018 Para World Sailing Championships wrapped up September 22 at the Sheboygan Yacht Club in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The week of sailing brought in various conditions, . The para sailors were able to complete their races, taking some of our CST athletes into the medals races on Saturday.

After two days of rain the sunshine is very welcoming at the Sail West Regatta at the Wabamun sailing club located about one hour west of Edmonton.
On August 10 – 12 Chester Classics and Gold River Marina will be hosting a regatta in support of Autism Nova Scotia.
During the week, more than 430 youngsters in over 220 boats descended upon Port Credit YC July 19 and 20 for the annual Steerers Regatta.
