Jeanneau America Staff Sailing Team 1st in Class, 2nd Overall

Jeanneau Sailing Team

In a fleet of over 40 boats, Jeanneau America Staff Sailing Team, in a Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 (Invictus) handily won her class and placed 2nd overall on corrected time. This is the first major regatta for the boat racing under PHRF and is a great testament to the competitiveness of the boat under a variety of handicap ratings including IRC and ORC. Organized by the Hampton Yacht Club, the Down the Bay Race is a 120 nautical mile race from Annapolis, MD to Hampton, VA.

Barbados Announces Title Sponsorship of NA Beneteau Championship

Barbados is the official title sponsor of the 2011 Beneteau First 36.7 North American Championship in Toronto, Ontario. This year’s race, from September 8 to 11, marks the 10th anniversary of this North American Class Regatta event and is the first time it will be held in Canadian waters.
