The wait is finally over for the much anticipated documentary, Melges: The Wizard of Zenda. We started production in 2014 on our film exploring the life and career of Buddy Melges. And just like’s Buddy’s career, this journey has been long and challenging, but ultimately, very fulfilling.

Wizard of Zenda with have the first of many premieres at the Annapolis Film Festival. The documentary will be featured at the festival’s Sailing Showcase in beautiful Maryland Hall, 10 a.m. March 25th.

If you’re getting this email, it’s because you were among the first to see our trailer and jump on board with your support and encouragement. So thanks for your patience. Now, WE NEED YOUR HELP spreading the word, as we switch from editing and post production to marketing and distribution.

One of Buddy’s legacies was sharing and giving back. And we want to give back to the sailing community with this film. We think his story will inspire audiences with powerful lessons for sailors, athletes, community leaders and parents.

We’ll keep you posted with updates as more screenings are scheduled around the world. And if you’d like to set up a private screening at your yacht club or sailing group, visit WizardOfZenda.com and click on ‘See the Film’.

Oh, and keep the Buddy stories coming. We’ve already started sharing some of your experiences on our web and social media sites, and we can’t get enough.

Thanks and remember, “start first and increase your lead and you’ll get to the finish line quicklier”.
