Over 170 sailors will be in action this weekend, July 19-21, at the St. Margaret Sailing Club in Nova Scotia, as they will take part in Sail Canada 2024 Sail East Championships.

Canadian Sailor Carlos Charabati from Montreal, QC, won the gold medal at the 2024 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships which ended June 30 in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Charabati’s gold medal is a first in Canadian sailing at the annual ILCA 4 Youth World Championships. The first edition was held in 2002.
Everyone was slightly nervous, but with the 2024-25 SailGP Schedule now announced, the disappointment will be tangible and enormous. Halifax is NOT on the Season Calendar.
