Zhik Viento and Ola Wetsuits for Foiling

With more sailors getting into foiling, wind and kite surfing, Zhik have launched a range of Men’s Viento and Women’s Ola steamer wetsuits. Embracing the same quality of materials and attention to design detail that has made Zhik a leader in technical dinghy wetsuits, the Viento and Ola suits are both available in a 4/3mm and 3/2mm long sleeve steamer, along with a women’s Ola long sleeve shorty.
The horizontal chest zip allows uninhibited flexibility through the upper body when in use and the high stretch neoprene makes for easy access when pulling the suits on and off. A double seal neck collar helps prevent water entering the suit and a smooth skin chest panel protects your torso from wind chill. Inside a warm, quick dry patterned fleece lining adding additional insulation for your body’s core.
Ola shorty
Created with form fitting panels to give you complete freedom of movement, the Viento and Ola suits are designed with minimal seams to enhance comfort and agility. All seams are glued, with Zhik’s new water-based (solvent free) glue formula, blind-stitched so that no thread perforates the outer neoprene face, and then fully seam taped. This three-stage system makes the seams incredibly durable and prevents any water ingress inside the suit, keeping you warmer when exposed to cold conditions at high speeds.
Ultra-high stretch raw edge cuffs are easy to pull on, are low-profile and reduce any risk of skin irritation around the wrist and ankles. Inside internal silicone strips keep the cuff and ankle openings secure against the skin preventing water ingress during high-performance activity.
Zhik’s highly durable, propriety reinforcement fabric, Zhiktex® II, is integrated into the knee panels to protect from the rigours of boards and beaches and improve the suits longevity. The men’s suits are fitted with Zhik’s patented Loo Rip system for quick and easy relief without having to take the suits off.
Designed in collaboration with Zhik’s female athletes, the Women’s Ola Shorty is tailor made for watersports. This versatile wetsuit uses 2mm neoprene for upper body warmth and protection. The seams use a soft, stretchy 4 needle flatlock stitching for strength, durability and ease of movement. To minimize environmental impact the seams are glued with Zhik’s new water-based solvent free glue. The shorty leg openings are finished with a neoprene rubber that creates a seal against your skin to reduce water ingress.
