The Canadian Dermatology Association’s National Sun Awareness Month is in May, urging Canadians to learn about the causes and early warning signs of skin cancer. Check out some important sun awareness messages and resources, including steps to conduct a self-examination and preventative actions.

I was helping teach my daughters to drive a 5-speed manual over the last while, and they have gotten very good at it. The clutch has survived, and they willingly take that car when they need it, so I think that is a win. I only wish my customers would figure out the 3 gears they need to race a sailboat!
Short for Lake of the Woods International Sailing Association, the LOWISA 56 Regatta will take place this year from July 30 – August 6, 2022. The regatta departs from Northern Harbour (near Kenora, Ontario) and includes seven days of racing and cruising through beautiful Lake of the Woods.

Toronto’s Sarah Douglas qualified a spot for Canada in ILCA 6 at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the first one in sailing for the country, while finishing in 24th position overall at the 2023 Sailing World Championships, held until Sunday in The Hague, Netherlands.
