LYRA has a long tradition of bringing Canadian and US sailors together for top level competition and camaraderie. As you know, that was not possible in 2020 so a program of events on separate sides of the border was assembled.
On Saturday Nov 14, LYRA held a virtual AGM hosted by NYC in Toronto to report and look ahead. Competitors and others will find it extremely interesting.

Who are these people? CAN SailGP’s done what nobody could have expected contending for a monumental win in its first outing, the Bermuda event that kicked off the SailGP season.

The International Lightning Class Association is proud to announce another season of our wildly successful Boat Grant Program. This program is designed to fund young sailors who want to experience the high level of competition offered by the ILCA.
Racing sailors and officials are invited to participate in a series of online rules discussions. In total, thirty different boat-to-boat scenarios will be presented which will challenge and enhance everyone’s knowledge of the racing rules of sailing.
