Mar 13, 2025

It’s the best party to kick off the 2025 boating & sailing season is nearly here!

Join Broad Reach for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and celebration with fellow boating enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just love being on the water, Spring Thaw is the perfect way to reconnect, make new friends, and set the tone for an incredible season ahead.

Pressgang Mutiny will bring their signature high-energy sea shanties, while Ian Bell’s rich storytelling and folk melodies will set the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable night. Guest speaker is Gordon Laco, a silent auction featuring high end items and a delicious menu  at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club on Saturday March 29 at 6 pm! All proceeds go directly toward Broad Reach’s youth programming, helping engage at least 508 underserved youth across Canada over the next 24 months.

Broad Reach has over 25 years of providing disadvantaged and underrepresented youth with unforgettable and life-changing activities developing knowledge, skills and social belonging through sailing. In the next 24 months, at least 508 youth will participate in the program and your support will help a lot.
