Following the presentation outside the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic of the Waterfront, fans and members of the public had the opportunity to grab autographs and photos with the athletes, and free SailGP merchandise was handed out.

Halifax Harbour will put a spotlight on Canada’s ocean playground when it hosts the seventh stop of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship from June 20-21, 2026. Thirteen teams will race in identical F50 foiling catamarans faster than wind speeds over 100km per hour.

With the world’s fastest and most technologically advanced racing just metres from the shore, the Rolex SailGP Championship will provide Canadian racing fans with a front-row seat to speed and innovation as it redefines the sport of sailing for generations to come.

Halifax will once again show itself as the ultimate on-water arena, turning the Canadian swing of the championship into a rallying cry of pride and excitement as fans cheer on the NorthStar SailGP Team.
