Created in 2002 by Philippe Paturel and the late Hal Davies, the 350-mile ocean race that connects Halifax to the French Archipelago of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon every two years is one of the big events of offshore sailing race in North America.

For the second time, the ROUTE Halifax Saint-Pierre fleet will gather in the magnificent setting of the Halifax Waterfront, right in the historic center of the city and a spectacular departure from the prestigious Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Arrival in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon 36 to 48 hours later, record to beat: 29 hours!

For the first time, in 2020, a new class with the Multi50! These spectacular multihulls will join the ROUTE from Halifax for some or directly from France to Saint-Pierre, for the others, in order to take off from ROUTE Saint-Pierre Quebec.
