Montreal’s Carlos Charabati Crowned 2024 ILCA 4 Youth World Champion

Canadian Sailor Carlos Charabati from Montreal, QC, won the gold medal at the 2024 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships which ended June 30 in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Charabati’s gold medal is a first in Canadian sailing at the annual ILCA 4 Youth World Championships. The first edition was held in 2002.

Severn II Rescued

It took a full day and lot of expertise, but according to owner Cedric Gyles Jr, the historic 8M, Severn II, is back to the surface and on her way to the repair shop.
