From Youngstown Yacht Club

Beginning in 2024, YYC is replacing course racing with pursuit feeder races to YYC—when faster boats chase down slower boats who started ahead of them. These “chase” races are better suited for families, friends and fewer crews.

Friday: Feeder races from Hamilton, GTA, and Olcott/Rochester, check-in, kick-off party

Saturday: 8-12 mile pursuit race (target 3-5 hrs. round-trip), followed by dinner & party

Sunday: A shorter pursuit race will finish at the red government buoy (R2), 2 miles north of the river mouth, on the way back to home ports, for those who need to head back early Sunday afternoon.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Live music, games, food & libations!

Feedback to improve the event – email Mark Schimley at Fleet@YYC.org.
