Halifax Harbour will put a spotlight on Canada’s ocean playground when it hosts the seventh stop of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship from June 20-21, 2026, during which 13 teams will race at speeds over 100km per hour.

With the world’s fastest and most technologically advanced racing just meters from the shore, the Rolex SailGP Championship will provide Canadian racing fans with a front-row seat to speed.

Sail Nova Scotia President Sarah Flanagan says, “We’re thrilled to welcome SailGP back to Halifax, where our harbour and sailing community will once again be under the spotlight on the global stage. The 2026 Canada Sail Grand Prix is not just a race, it’s a celebration of Nova Scotia’s deep connection to the ocean and our passion for sailing, as this world-class event helps grow both our sport and spur the local economy.”
