Registration Now Open for PCYC’s Premier Youth Sailing Events!

Port Credit Yacht Club (PCYC) proudly opens registration for two of its largest annual sailing events: the 65th Steerers’ Invitational and the 23rd Four Sisters Open, sponsored by driveHG.ca. Building on many years of success, PCYC anticipates welcoming more than 500 sailors including Optimists, ILCAs and double-handed C420s and 29ers to compete in a series of thrilling races led by Principal Race Officer David Sprague.

65th Annual Steerers’ Invitational

Date: July 18th & 19th

Register now for a fun and highly anticipated event steeped in tradition and competitive spirit open to boats of the Optimist (green, red, blue and white), Laser Radial (ILCA 6), Laser 4.7 (ILCA 4), 29er and Club 420 (white sail & spinnaker) classes. As a learning regatta, coaching is encouraged and permitted in the back third of the fleet and participants can expect a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to personal growth and development.

23rd Annual Four Sisters Open

Date: July 20th & 21st

PCYC is proud to host the 23rd Annual Four Sisters Open promising sailors of the Laser (ILCA 7), Laser Radial (ILCA 6), Laser 4.7 (ILCA4), Club 420 White Sail or Spinnaker, 29er and Optimist boat classes exhilarating competition. Results from this prestigious event will be tallied as part of the Ontario Sailing Grand Prix Development Series and the Fogh Gold Cup Racing Series. PCYC is also once again hosting the Club 420 Canadian Championship. Each year this major event on Lake Ontario attracts more and more international sailors from as far as Hong Kong, Vancouver and the US.
