There’s a record registration commitment of 33 competitors already for the 2025 Martin 242 “45th Anniversary” North American Championship , August 23 to 24, 2025 in  Vancouver. The regatta is co-Hosted by Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and Kitsilano Yacht Club.

Teams are coming from Los Angeles, Anacortes, Orcas Island, Victoria, Sidney, Nanaimo, Gibsons, Nelson, Vancouver, Port Moody, and possibly Sylvan Lake (Alberta) and Comox.

This will be the biggest turnout since 2007 when the fleet hosted 36 boats and reflects the regional growth of our Class whereby more racing owners are buying 242’s as a result of our ongoing marketing campaign extolling the virtues (and low cost) of the Martin 242 Class.
