Hall of Fame: 16 Inductees Join Hall of Fame

The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club hosted the 2024 Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, October 5th.

Nearly 150 guests attended the event where 16 Canadians were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The 16 new inductees are: Caroll-Ann Alie, Rob Ball, David Cook, Jackie Gay, Pat Healy, Eric Jespersen, Ken Kelly, Stacie Louttit, Brian MacDonald, Ross Macdonald, Don Martin, John McRoberts, Steve Tupper, Kirk Westergaard, David Williams and Mike Wolfs

Established by the Board of Directors of Sail Canada, the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame recognizes illustrious individuals who have made notable contributions to sailing in Canada and worldwide. Currently, the Hall of Fame is a virtual record, but plans are underway to establish a physical presence.
