Five medals and a Canadian podium sweep at the ILCA Midwinters West held March 24-26 at the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club in Long Beach, California. Canadian sailors won five medals, including a podium sweep in ILCA 7, at the ILCA Midwinters West held March 24-26 at the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club in Long Beach, California.

In ILCA 7, Matthew Stranaghan (WVYC), Al Clark (Jericho Sailing Centre) and Kelley Poole (RVicYC) respectively took the first, second and third positions to complete a Canadian podium sweep.

In ILCA 4, Andre Deseau and Gustave Deseau, both from the WVYC, respectively won the gold and silver medal in ILCA 4.
