NOD Draws Large Fleet to Ottawa

We are pleased to announce GILL® has been selected as the official technical apparel supplier to the Canadian Yachting Association and the Canadian Sailing Team. GILL® will be supplying members of the Canadian Sailing Team with branded podium apparel and technical sailing gear.

In addition to supplying the Canadian Sailing Team, CYA will be providing GILL® apparel to coaches and officials. The CYA's Executive Director, Paddy Boyd says "CYA is delighted to welcome Gill aboard.

Heading into the last day here at Chester Race Week, there are some very exciting races for first place in both Distance Divisions and the Bravo 1 Division. Yesterday’s weather brought in cloud and sun, but very light winds, which some of the fleet found to be very challenging. However, the leaders always seem to rise to the top. Results heading in the final day of racing have many boats vying neck and neck for trophies and bragging rights.

The Great Lakes Laser Regatta is now a wrap! Congratulations to the 73 participants, making this the largest Master’s Laser event in Canada this year. The event was held in the town of Thornbury west of Collingwood on South Georgian Bay, from July 12 through July 14. The races were held off shore from Thornbury harbour.
