Sail Nova Scotia has been selected as the host of the 2026 Canada Sail Grand Prix to be held in June next year. Exact dates and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

We had an incredible turnout by fans who were passionate for our racing last year in Halifax, and combined with the challenging race conditions, it promises to be a standout event in our 2026 season.”

Sail Nova Scotia President Sarah Flanagan says: “Thanks to the Province of Nova Scotia, the city of Halifax, and all of our partners for coming together to help us bring SailGP back to Halifax. I have no doubt Canada’s Ocean Playground will put on an unforgettable event again.”

NorthStar SailGP Team driver Giles Scott says: “Racing in front of the home crowd is incredibly special, and we can’t wait to bring the excitement of SailGP back to Canada.”
