Fiesty – LYRA Boat of the Year 2023 – One Design

For boats on this side of the border, LYRA at Rochester has been a favourite for years and this year, after a Covid hiatus with closed borders, may well be the bounce back opportunity. The classic Rochester Yacht Club is charmingly historic and always welcoming to Canadians. Lake Yacht Racing Association, founded in 1884 to serve and represent yachting interests on Lake Ontario, Eastern Lake Erie, the Upper St. Laurence River. RYC first hosted in 1937 and many times since.
