SinC Sail Canada Celebration of Sailing 2023

September 6, 2023

Sail Canada, along with the Port Credit Yacht Club (PCYC), is inviting all Canadian sailing enthusiasts to Canada’s third annual Celebration of Sailing reception which will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 16:00.

Following the exciting conclusion of Sarah Douglas’ final races at the 2023 Sailing World Championships, where she qualified Canada for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the ILCA 6 class, this year’s reception will serve to celebrate that feat and so much more! Canada’s Celebration of Sailing marks the pinnacle event of the season for the sport of sailing in Canada, where our nation’s high-performance sailors of past, present, and future gather with welcomed guests to celebrate outstanding performances and experiences.

Guests will be treated with plentiful appetizers, complimentary beverages, a full itinerary of reunions, a PanAm Games Send off, the launching of the count-down to Canada sailing in the Paris Olympic Games, stories of Sailing legends, award presentations, and a gift to take home following the reception.
