Laser 28s Coming to Golden Horseshoe

The summer regatta schedule for the coveted (if homemade) Laser Cup is Royal Hamilton Open July 1, NOLSC’s Niagara cup July 15 and then Cornucopia at DYC Sept 2. We will race to class rules, and we will likely have our own starts!

Some boats will also do for fun Fiasco at the Golden Horseshoe clubs July 2 on the way home from Royal Hamilton and perhaps a fun face from NOLSC to Port Weller after the Niagara Cup to keep the guys heading home company.

For Travel boats, Niagara Cup has docking Friday and Saturday, launching to be reviewed if needed. DYC also has facilities to launch, and we can see what they can do for anyone needing a lift in/out.

This is a truly grassroots undertaking – a bunch of people with the same boat held together by a Facebook page with an enthusiasm for a great one-design boat that hasn’t been built for years – no dues nothing official.
