Chester Race Week has announced registration for 2023. They sent along this fantastic shot of last year’s winner, Auster, in the Roue 20 class. The crew led by skipper Robert Merchant is clearly pretty happy with their performance as they receive their trophy and keeper ‘wrestling’ belt from Chester Yacht Club Commodore, David Creighton. Hard to top for a very happy winner shot.

Randy Stevens started racing at Chester Race Week in the early 1970s and for about 20 of those years, he raced in a C&C 39. He sold that boat a few years ago, unofficially retired from racing, and bought a power boat instead.
May 1, 2024 At the last SailGP event in Christchurch NZ, the Canadian boat had three collisions and a number of injuries. It was mayhem as the video shows.
