SinC Sail Nova Scotia Spring Launch

Join Sail NS and sailors from across the province as we hold a Spring Launch Party to kick off the 2022 season, Thursday, June 2 from 7 to 10pm at the Stubborn Goat Gastropub in Halifax. There will be drink specials and some fantastic silent auction items in support of the Sail Nova Scotia Sailing Program delivering youth learn-to-sail programming across rural Nova Scotia.

NS Clubs

Armdale YC kicks off the regatta season with their Ice Breaker Regatta on May 21.

RNSYS launches their 2022 Ladies First Sailing Series May 22, a six-part sailing series that runs through the Spring, Summer and Fall. The club has also recently launched an all-ages community foiling program that includes, Nacra17, WASZPS, wing foils, and Nacra15. For interest, please email canadianfoilingacademy@gmail.com.

Chester YC is holding a Racing Rules Seminar led by CYC Race Officer Chris Tully on May 25 and Thursday, June 2 is their first Thursday Night Race and BBQ of the season. 

Hubbards SC & St. Margaret SC will hold a news conference on May 31 to announce all the details about the 2022 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 World Championships set for St. Margarets Bay August 31 to September 5.

May 31 is the end of lobster season! The traps come out at midnight!
