The Ontario Sailing Board announces a significant investment into our Main Sail Program!

With support and thanks from two long standing partners, Fogh Marine and Marine Cradle Shop, we have taken possession of a new trailer and 8 RS Zest Sailboats.

Main Sail helps clubs develop their own Learn to Sail Programs with support from Ontario Sailing with the capital equipment and training of instructors under the CANSAIL Community Stream. This year Main Sail will be working with Stormont Yacht Club and Thousand Island Boat Museum in Eastern Ontario.

The capital equipment represents a $70,000 investment by Ontario Sailing into Youth and Adult Learn to Sail Programs.

Last year Main Sail helped support two amazing clubs, Port Stanley Sailing Squadron and Cedar Island Yacht Club, both located on Lake Erie. Both clubs will be running their own Learn to Sail Programs this coming Season. Now to just add the water, sunshine, sailors and fun!!

For more information on the Main Sail Program contact Ontario Sailings Executive Director, Glenn Lethbridge, glenn@ontariosailing.ca.
